Jeanette was called to the Bar in 2012.  Predominately practising in Criminal Law, Jeanette defends all manner of crimes from minor to the most serious and complex cases the UK courts see.  Jeanette also assists parents in the family court concerning arrangements for children. She is able to take full advantage of her robust cross-examination skills  learnt in the criminal courts to ensure those making allegations can be robustly tested. 

Jeanette, is an Ex-Detective and Crown Prosecutor. This means she knows the inns and outs of the other side of the fence and approaches all her cases with a fine tooth comb to make sure that everything is as it should be - if not Jeanette is quick to make arguments for dismissal. Jeanette will always treat your case very seriously  and do all she can to ensure a positive outcome.

Jeanette is a regular contributor in her area of expertise in the local and national news.  In fact alongside her legal practice Jeanette runs a TV consultancy where she advises production companies who make TV drama/documentaries involving Law. She has produced a number of true crime/police access shows for Sky, BBC and C5 and worked as Legal Consultant on dramas for the BBC, ITV and Netflix. She's a permanent advisor to Coronation Street's legal stories and has worked on Happy Valley and the successful BBC prison Drama 'Time'.

You can find Jeanette appearing on Netflix true crime documentary 'Meet, Marry, Murder' where she appears as an expert talking about a double murder she was instructed.
